A Terrific Thursday

Another fantastic day in room 18 is in the books! We visited the Library today for the first time. The students loved the awesome lounge furniture. Although, the highlight for most them would be us getting locked in our room. Mr. Mastin and Mr. Walder came to our rescue, though, and now the lock is fixed.

We practiced a new choice for Choice Time today. The students were introduced to the Tumblebooks website to practice Listen to Reading. The link is on the district homepage, so students can access this website from home if they'd like.

There are a few students that are finished with their History projects, so we will begin to share those tomorrow. However, there will be more time for students to work on them throughout next week if they are not done yet. My goal is have all of the projects presented by next Friday.

We're all continuing to get to know each other, and get back in the swing of school, but if the first couple weeks are any indication, this is going to be a great year. Thank you, again, for sharing your children with me!
